Alternative diploma Program

Alternative Diploma Program Overview

This program is designed for students age 16 and older who dropped out of school. Students in this program don’t start over—they simply restart and pick up where they left off.

Using an Internet-based curriculum that is designed to meet students at different ability levels, the program provides flexibility in completing the requirements for a high school diploma as students work at their own pace.

Students must complete one class every 30 days and most students with prior high school credits complete their high school diploma in 10 months or less.

"In 2004, my family became homeless when I was in the 11th grade. I had been trying to get my GED since 2009 and couldn't pass the tests. Then I found this program. I got a second chance to get my high school diploma! The classes are hard but my life without a diploma was harder."
