Step 2: File your Georgia Declaration of Intent to Homeschool
(Email a copy to yourself for proof of legal compliance)
Step 3: Gather your child's prior academic records and submit to Intake for a suggested class schedule
Step 4: Identify online or community based electives

PAY YOUR TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION FEE HERE
Transcripts must be evaluated prior to selecting your classes and transcript evaluation fees must be paid prior to receiving your class schedule. After you have paid your fee, you will be able to upload your transcript. Before paying, check below if your county of residence is exempt from the fee.

Transcript Evaluations for High School Students: High school students and students over 18 looking to enroll in the alternative homeschool diploma program.
Counties highlighted in red are Rural Community Diploma Program Counties. High School Students in these counties can join the diploma program on a sliding scale fee.
Only students who are referred to the program from a high school counselor, Second Chance Counseling Program, Department of Juvenile Justice Officer, or a law enforcement official are exempt of the transcript evaluation fee.
Elementary and Middle School Students from these counties can enroll in the online reading intervention program at no cost. https://forms.gle/QqW7AhT38CYa7mfA7
