2. Who can take these classes?
CTE classes are open to students in grades 9–12 enrolled in our High School Diploma Pathway. These courses are especially valuable for students interested in entering the workforce, starting a trade, or exploring career options before college.
3. What provider do you use for these courses?
We partner with Savvas Learning Company, a trusted leader in career and technical education. Their curriculum is aligned to national standards and designed to prepare students for workforce certification exams.
4. What types of CTE courses are available?
We offer a range of options in areas such as:
  • Business & Marketing

  • Criminal Justice & Public Safety
  • Information Technology
  • Culinary Arts
  • Early Childhood Education
  • And more!
5. Will I receive a certification when I finish?
Some courses prepare students to take industry-recognized certification exams. While the course itself provides the training, students may need to complete testing through external agencies to earn official certification.
6. How are the courses delivered?
CTE courses are 100% online, self-paced, and integrated into each student’s diploma plan. Students work independently with support from our Academic Advisors.
7. Can I take CTE courses if I already have work experience?
Yes! Students with job experience can use CTE courses to build credentials, deepen their knowledge, or shift into a new field while earning their diploma.
8. What’s the cost?
CTE courses are included in your High School Diploma Pathway tuition. Tuition begins at $1,000 per year and is offered on a sliding scale to make access equitable for all families. No grant funding is available at this time.
